Our Staff Sticks Around

Thorncliffe Park Day Care Center is proud of our quality daycare staff and fortunate that they like to stay. Current average tenure is 8 years, and that's after just adding 3 new staff to the infant room. All of our Early Childhood Educators (ECE’s) are registered with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE). All hold First Aid/CPR certificates and some are certified food handlers.

Alexis Foreman (RECE)

Other Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Masters in Counseling of Psychology, Family Mediation, Solution Focused Therapy

Alexis received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from George Brown College in June, 1992 and earned an Early Childhood Education Administration Diploma from Centennial College of Applied Arts & Technology in 1995. She has held supervising & teaching positions working with all age groups since 1992.

Karen Khadoo (RECE)

While working with children during the day Karen took courses and worked very hard to received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Mothercraft in October, 2010. She has held teaching positions working with all age groups since 1991.

Zahra Moghadasi (RECE)

Other Education: Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Ryerson University, 2012.

Zahra received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology in June 2010. She has worked as a supply teacher working with infants up to school-age and now works in our JK/SK fulltime.

Adrian Allen (RECE)

Adrian received his Early Childhood Education Diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College of Applied Arts & Technology from Peterborough, Ontario, June 1997. Adrian works with all age groups.

Jocelyn De La Cruz (Assistant Teacher)

Jocelyn has been an excellent assistant with us for a number of years and we’re very happy that she wants to improve herself by pursuing courses in Early Childhood Education at Seneca College Part-time.

Jabeen Syeeda (RECE)

Other Education: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education & Masters of Education from Pakistan

Jabeen came to us already well educated already but additional knowledge and received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology, December, 2007.

Raquel Manansal (Assistant Teacher)

Other Education: Bachelor of Liberal Arts.

Racquel is also pursuing an Early Childhood Educator diploma from Seneca College part time. She has held teaching positions working with infants-school-age children.

AnneMarie Griffin (RECE)

AnneMarie received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Sheridan College of Applied Arts & Technology of Oakville, Ontario, in May, 2003. AnneMarie’s extensive experience with infants is immediately obvious.

Sara Ball (RECE)

Sara received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Georgian College of Applied Art & Technology in June 2007. She has held teaching positions experiences working with infants-school-age children.

Saida Siddiqui (Early Childhood Assistant)

Everyone is working very hard to better themselves, including Saida. She too is studying for her ECE at Seneca College part time. Saida has held teaching positions working with infants-school-age children.

Marie Tarditti (RECE)

Marie received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Centennial College in June, 2005 and has been working with us ever since and is currently our “designate” supervisor and works with all age groups.

Sidra Khalid (RECE)

Other Education: Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights & Equity Studies, 2012.

Sidra received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology in June 2009. Sidra works in our School-age room and infant room.
